Companies Predicted to Double Down on Analytics in 2021

A press release published by Gartner predicts that 2021 will be the year data analytics becomes a “core business function” for many companies.

Rita Sallam, distinguished research vice president at Gartner, stated that the global pandemic has served as a cataclysm for many data and analytics leaders to “identify key technology trends and prioritize those with the biggest potential impact on their competitive advantage.”

Wayfair, an e-commerce-centered organization specializing in furniture and home-goods, says that data analytics is integrated into almost every job function throughout the organization, “a strategy aimed at fueling data literacy throughout the company structure.”

In addition, data strategies have assisted the healthcare supply chain while combating the COVID-19 pandemic, such as ESO, a data software company, in offering personal protective equipment to workers on the frontlines.
