A military-friendly program
At NC State, we put learning into practice — and leaders on the fast track. Whether you’re on active duty or transitioning from service, this program provides the tools you need to advance in your career. Our program is part-time and can be completed 100% online to help meet the needs of active duty officers or those transitioning to civilian life.
Most military students are eligible for excellent government assistance through the Military Assistance Tuition Program. The NC State Veterans’ Education Office also supports student veterans and veteran dependents in applying for and managing their VA Education Benefits/GI Bill.

Through collaborations with campus partners and leading companies, you will gain valuable real-world experience – often while working alongside students from other esteemed Jenkins Graduate School programs within the Poole College of Management, including Business Administration (MBA), Accounting (MAC), and the Master of Management, Risk and Analytics (MRA).
Flexible. Pursue your degree from anywhere in the world. The part-time and online format allows you to complete the program in as little as 21 months, or you can spread out your coursework over the course of up to six years. Our asynchronous format means you can login at any time from any place, allowing for deployment, travel, and relocation.
Supportive. The Poole College of Management has a dedicated academic advisor for our military graduate students. And, the NC State Veterans’ Education Office supports student veterans in managing their VA Education Benefits, including the Yellow Ribbon Program.
