Global Experiences

Overview

In addition to internships and practicums with corporate partners, MMA students are strongly encouraged to gain practical experience within a global market as part of their education. Each spring and summer, students have the opportunity to participate in international immersion programs that offer both elective and core courses.

Students who visited Prague in July 2022 earned course credit for MBA 535 (Leading Teams) and MBA 532 (Residency 2)

2023 Study Abroad Programs

Germany: Innovation and Marketing Systems

Spend a week in one of Innovation Cities’™ most innovative cities in the world. Get hands-on experience in the study of innovation and marketing through a week abroad in Munich, Germany.

Brazil: Business Sustainability in Emerging Markets

Learn about the importance and presence of sustainability in business in one of the most biodiverse countries in the world! Enjoy an unforgettable week in beautiful Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, while completing coursework for MBA 590.

South Africa: Leading People — Residency #2 and Leading Teams

Participants on the program will spend a week in Stellenbosch, South Africa exploring both the corporate and cultural offerings of the city.

Student Experience

After spending time studying abroad in Germany as an undergraduate student and falling in love with the culture, MMA student Christa Langenburg jumped at the opportunity to revisit Germany for a week-long study abroad course studying innovation and marketing systems at leading global companies.
